Step by step, you will expand what you can do in German:

• Career history and applications: Describe your education and professional experience chronologically, understand job advertisements and write a formal cover letter.

• Working life and professional communication: Organise work processes, conduct professional telephone calls and write formal emails.

• Job interviews and career planning: Present yourself confidently, describe your career goals and discuss employment conditions.

• Finding a home and understanding a tenancy agreement: Compare property advertisements, understand important contract clauses and contact landlords.

• Neighbours and shared living: Make social connections, address conflicts politely and understand rules for living together.

• Repairs and household matters: Report damage, write a formal notice of defects and arrange repair appointments.

• Health and medical appointments: Describe symptoms accurately, understand medical instructions and report sickness to your employer.

• Food and cooking: Discuss eating habits, understand product information and explain recipes and preparation processes.

• Sport and fitness: Talk about your exercise routine, give health advice and plan group activities.

You will practise reading, listening, writing and speaking in situations directly relevant to life in Germany.

The course covers structures such as the simple past, adjective endings, temporal and conditional clauses, paired conjunctions, the passive voice, the subjunctive and different infinitive constructions.

B1.1 is the first part of the B1 level.

A clear learning path through nine units

The course includes nine units with three learning objectives each, plus additional exam preparation.

Each objective takes you through connected learning phases: you explore the topic, learn vocabulary and grammar, consolidate both through practice and apply what you have learned in reading, listening, writing and speaking.

The adaptive platform considers your progress and adjusts the depth of practice. Your Mastery Score shows which content you can already use confidently and where you need further practice.

Independent learning – with support

Your AI tutor answers questions and explains language concepts at a level that suits you. It helps you understand how to reach an answer instead of simply providing one.

The smart dictionary allows you to look up, collect and review new vocabulary.

For writing and speaking tasks, you receive AI-powered feedback on grammar, word choice and language range, as well as spelling or pronunciation.

The exercises are in German. Explanations are available in English, Turkish, Arabic, Italian, Ukrainian, French, Spanish or Persian.

JustApp is a digital self-study course. Live classes and personal support from a teacher are not included in this format.
